Review - The Hobbit

Saya memilih image untuk The Hobbit karena image ini adalah yang menurut saya paling tepat untuk menggambarkan film The Hobbit kali ini. Mungkin judul The Hobbit sendiri kurang tepat karena film ini bercerita paling banyak mengenai Dwarves atau kurcaci. Cowok ganteng yang ditengah image itu adalah tokoh sentral dari semua cerita di film ini.
Kalau saya harus menilai secara keseluruhan, film ini saya berikan nilai 9/10 , or shall I say "Perfecto!"
Film ini tentu saja diawali di Shire, kampung Hobbit yang dilukiskan dengan sangat indah, yang pastinya saya masukkan ke dalam salah satu destinasi saya untuk travelling suatu hari nanti :)). Di awali dengan karakter Bilbo Baggins, paman dari Frodo Baggins. Bagi yang mengikuti Lord Of the Ring pasti sudah tidak asing lagi dengan Frodo. Bilbo di tawari sebuah petualangan oleh Gandalf, si penyihir abu-abu, yang kemudian di kenalkan kepada para pejuang kurcaci yang berjumlah 12 orang dengan nama-nama yang unik tentunya, sehingga total dari seluruh kawanan tersebut berjumlah 14 orang. Tujuan akhir dari petualangan mereka adalah mengalahkan si Naga-smaug yang telah mengambil alih kerajaan para kurcaci Erebor.
Banyaknya varian species dalam film ini membuat saya harus teliti untuk mengikuti tiap inci cerita film ini, dan film ini menyajikan fantasi yang begitu menakjubkan ditambah pula dengan special effect yang begitu menakjubkan, film ini sangat bercita rasa tinggi. Dalam 3 jam perjalanan film ini saya seperti ditarik ke dalam dunia lain, the middle earth. Amazing! Salah satu karakter yang menjadi daya tarik tersendiri dari film ini tentu saja smeagol , dimana saya bisa merasakan bagaimana dia begitu sendiri dan egois tapi begitu kesepian sehingga dia hanya bisa bersosialisasi dengan pikirannya sendiri dan pada akhirnya membuat dia mempunyai kepribadian ganda.
Bagi kamu yang belum menonton Lord Of the Ring, tenang saja, film ini tidak mempunyai alur yang menyangkut dalam film tersebut sehingga bisa sangat mudah di ikuti. Silahkan Anda ajak kerabat ataupun anak anda untuk menonton film ini, film ini akan menjadi daya tarik tersendiri dan sangat menyenangkan untuk di diskusikan. Bahkan saya berniat untuk menonton kembali film ini, it's so addicting!

One Year

Saya menulis blog ini sambil mendengarkan lagu Mika-Celebrate , one of the best songs for the year of 2012. Merayakan hari ulang tahun Kei yang pertama rasanya campur aduk, bahagia dia bisa melewati setahun pertama ini dan melangkah ke arah yang lebih dewasa. Masih segar di ingatan ketika pertama kali membawa Kei ke dunia ini, ketika dokter mengangkatnya dan meletakkannya di sebelahku, rambutnya yang keriting dan tangisannya yang menggelegar, walau setelah itu saya passed out karena tekanan darah yang rendah.
Selamat ulang tahun yang pertama Kei, Mama yakin kau akan tumbuh menjadi anak yang hebat! I just know it! Tetap sehat selalu, dan tetaplah tersenyum. I wish I could be at your side in every inch of your steps, but I can't. I'm not a perfect mother, and I know it, but you make me perfect and keep on making me a better person every day. I love you so much, and I hope you can feel and know it!

Beyonce - Countdown

Walaupun sekarang sudah dekat natal, entah kenapa belum ada 'panggilan jiwa' untuk mendengarkan lagu natal. Entah kenapa setelah kemarin melihat salah satu konser Beyonce di TV berbayar, jadi terus kepikiran dan akhirnya di tuntaskan dengan melihat saluran lagu terbaik Beyonce di Youtube.
Yang waktu itu saya sukai adalah lagu If I were a boy, yang mungkin seperti kita semua tahu adalah lagu yang akan di amini oleh seluruh perempuan di dunia ini. Tapi setelah sekian lagu, saya 'nyangkut' di lagu Countdown - Beyonce, dan akhirnya diulang-ulang dan akhirnya mencari lyricnya, seperti berikut ini :

Video klipnya saya angkat jempol 4 untuk ini, benar-benar kreatif dan penuh warna. Saya sangat suka sekali dengan video klip Beyonce yang satu ini, dengan menggunakan wig hitam, dan sepanjang video yang banyak di tunjukkan adalah wajah beyonce dengan berbagai macam warna norak pada eyeshadownya dan pada backgroundnya. Dugaan saya adalah video ini dibuat pada saat dia hamil atau dia baru melahirkan :)). Video klip ini juga semakin menguatkan image Beyonce yang multitalent dan akan menjadi seorang legenda pada masanya nanti.

Review Les Choristes / The Chorus

Les Choristes / The Chorus is a 2004 movie, directed by Christophe Barattier. It is a french movie, that played beautifully just like a symphony.
The link of the movie is given by a good friend of mine, so i watch it yesterday. No expectation, what so ever, just watch it! But it end up, I got sucked up to the movie and I wish it will never end.
The movie is set in 1947 in a school for special boys, what I meant about special is difficult children. A group of difficult, poor and underrated children. Maybe it sounds like a typical kind of movie, difficult children and saved by a teacher...yes, it was that kind of movie, but then you will see that the children is saved by music. Don't compare it with the sound of music, because it's not musical.

You will see, how children will adjust with music and change their character bit by bit. I love how Mr. Matheiu (if I spell it right) teach music, from zero to hero, and also find a children and lead him to a better future. That was teacher supposed to be, lead their students to themselves, and prepare them for a better future.
You could watch it in youtube, they have the full version movie. If you already watch it, we could discuss it. But before that, I give 8 /10 for this movie. In youtube, you could also see the choir and all of their live shows. My favourite song is La Nuit!
