I guess not everyone as lucky as Freddie Mercury, he knows what he was born to be. He was born to be a rockstar! He was born to be a music genius, one of the best performer in history. Born as Farrookh Bulsara, he changed his name into Freddie Mercury.
The scene started a small paki was working at an airport, after his job is done, he wrote on a piece of paper, and then went to the college bar and met his band mates, Brian and Roger. Not only them, he met his love of his life, the only woman who he cling into for the rest of his lives, Mary. I love Mary, she looks gorgeus in her blonde hair, pointy nose and beautiful eyes. Compare to Freddie, she could get more handsome man, rather than a man with weird teeth.
Just like any band, the band was not agree on to anything, they argue over songs, over cars, well boys will always be boys. But one thing they are sure of, their songs were about outcast, they were all outcasts and all of the listeners are outcast. You could feel that their songs are not common words, oh after you read this, please do listen to all of Queen's songs. If you had a chance to watch the movie, I guarantee you will search through their songs. You will hear how they shout about life, about heartache, about not just being a background noise, about being a champion, about poetry and opera, and many more.
Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury really play it well, it's like he becomes him in a way. I specifically love when he stands in the rain talking to Mary and talk to him how his circles is dragging him down. Every star syndrome is how those stars felt so lonely with their fame, and their circles. This is where the your circles could be your biggest enemy, where they could ruin your whole life.
I truly love this English Band more and more after watching this movie. Their songs is definitely enters my playlist, my favorite is Don't Stop Me Now. You should watch and listen to every song, start with their hits, and hopefully you will understand what they are trying to tell the world.
So much flashlight in this movie, so many fashion statements that were beautifully placed and only Freddie Mercury that could pull it off. I love how Gwillym Lee acts as Brian May who was the most calm gentleman in the band, and off course how John Deacon didn't really care if everybody is more famous than him. Not only Freddie, Queen has Roger played by Ben Hardy, the playboy of the band.
It's a complete outcast band and the most perfect one!
The ending is SUPERB! You will enjoy the last 20 minutes feeling Freddie's energy and what he actually wants to say to the world. How the world follow his lead and have fun with him, and how AIDS doesn't really change a thing! He's truly a legend.
I luvv this movie, I think you should see it, and tell me your comments! I give it 4/5 stars!

Movie Review - The Nun
One of the most anticipated movie in 2018, The Nun. After the successful movie of Conjuring, and if you like horror movie, this is one of the must see movie.
Cast by Taissa Farmiga as Sister Irene and Demian Bichir as Father Burke, and Jonas Bloquet as Frenchie. If you're one of the American Horror Story follower, you must have know Taissa Farmiga very well.
In 1950's deep in the romanian woods, there's a monastery of St. Carta. Placed in a castle, it was a very big convent, with lots of cemeteries on the outside. One of the interesting thing of the cemeteries is the bell hanging on each of the grave. Well, what is a horror movie without the cemetery? You will find out how the bell works after watching the movie.
Back to the main cast, Sister Irene and Father Burke was assigned by the Vatican to investigate the murder in the St Carta monastery. As we all know, every investigation must under the knowledge of the Vatican. So, Sister Irene and Father Burke met Frenchie, the boy who found the body that hanging in front of the door of the monastery.
To investigate they have to stay at the lodge near the monastery, and it doesn't take long before the ghosts lure them to the convent, where the real actions wait.
For me, The Nun is quite horrific, the dark sets, the cemeteries, the convent, it just perfect set for a horror movie. Maybe after this movie you will see nuns differently, especially after sunsets. The only thing that annoys me is the ending. I thought the execution in the end will be grand, but unfortunately my expectations was too high. After all the horrific actions at the beginning and in the middle, the ending was quite too fast. Valak felt less evil and scary.
But, maybe that's just me. Compared to Conjuring, this is like soup with less salt. Almost perfect, but there's something missing at the end. The Nun get 3/5 stars for me.
Watch the movie, and let me know if you find this movie quite horrific or not at the comment below!

Movie Review - Searching (2018)
This is one of the most talked about movie lately. No big posters here and there, no big budget marketing in TV, malls or any kind of the usual thing we see. I never know about this movie too until one of my favorite twitter dude shares about this movie, then it caught my attention.
Searching, made only 15,566,043 USD world wide according to IMDB, with also scores 7,9/10 in IMDB. So, if you're looking for a new movie to watch this weekend, well, this could be it.
Starred by John Cho as David Kim, a father that has a perfect family. A beautiful wife and a daughter. Until cancer took his wife, and the family changed into a distant relationship. This is very common, when the glue is missing, the relationship became distant. One day, David was face timing his daughter about the house chores, and ask her daughter to do it as soon as possible. The next morning, he found out that her daughter never came home from her study group.
This movie will enlight you, if ever one of your family member or your loved ones ever missing. But don't forget, the more you dig, the more secrets revealed.
David thought he knew his daughter, he thought he knew her daily life, her favorite places, her favorite friends. But the moment his daughter is missing, he realized he knew nothing about her.
This movie is filled with lots of details, like a puzzle, one by one is crafted into one big picture. The best thing that I love about Searching is the plot twist is great. Just when you thought you already figure it out, there's always surprises at the corner. Tailored into a great big picture this movie is definitely worth to watch.
I don't want to spoil the story much, cause it will ease the surprises. Before you watch it, delete all your thoughts, follow all the cues, and enjoy the storyline.
This is one of the best storyline in a movie I have watched this year, so I give Searching 4/5 stars. If you have watch the movie, share your thoughts with me in the comments below.

Movie Review - Hereditary 2018
This movie probably one of the most anticipated movie for horror movie lovers this year. Hereditary is cast by Toni Collete, Milly Shapiro, Alex Wolff and Gabriel Byrne.
The movie opened with a scene of a funeral, apparently the grandma has died. Toni Collete as Annie or the mother of this family is a miniature artist, she creates buildings with people in it, where I thought this movie is leading into a vodoo thingy. The family had a big house and a tree house nearby. That morning, Charlie or Milly Shapiro is sleeping in the tree house again. From first glance, you will know that there's just something wrong with Charlie.
After a week the grandma died, there's so many weird things happens in the house. There's this light that just passes by, or shadows that appears here and there. The trigger happens when Charlie had an accident. This is the only spooky scene in the movie I suppose, all of the other scenes are just riddles that just dying to be found out.
Hereditary presents a very different kind of horror, maybe thriller would suit it, if you compare it to the other famous movie like Conjuring or Insidious. This is actually beyond my expectations, gory in few scenes, but not too horror for me.
You have to watched it very carefully, or else you won't understand about the story presented. Toni Collete acts is quite amazing, especially her outfit with the linen, I just love it!
Well, you should see it! And tell me how it goes..for me, this movie is 3/5 stars!

Movie Review - You Were Never Really Here
It's been a productive week, I've watched several movie lately, but this one really caught me. Based on the book with the same the title written by Jonathan Ames, this a struggle of an adult.
The main actor is Joaquin Phoenix, while he played perfectly in this role as Joe, an ex soldier who decided to become a hitman. The movie started with a man in his closet under a plastic bag, after a while he started to count and old memories keep flashing back. Joe is a child who experience abused childhood and that creates a man that suffers a mental sickness.
He lives only with her mother, who might reach almost 80 if I'm not mistaken. She looks so skinny and fragile, Joe takes care of her mother really well. He takes her to bed, he cleaned the messy bathroom after her mother take a bath, he is an obedient child. There is not even a single point that Joe had a personal life other than his career as a hitman.
One day a big task coming, it comes from a famous politician whose daughter has been kidnapped and caught in the human trafficking. Joe nailed the job, he had the girl in his arms and secure her to the meeting point. Little did he know, the kidnapper is the governor. This is where the twist played, and everything just become chaotic. Joe was brutally injured, he got hit in the face, it was hard to believe that he could made it.
If you're kind of scared with blood bath, i remind you not to watch the movie. There's something I learn from this movie, even the worst man you could think of, in this case it's a hitman, they all have conscience. Joe have pictured thousands of times to killed himself, take the easy way and leave, but he simply doesn't take it.
As an awkward man we usually see Joaquin Phoenix, this is just the perfect role for him, though I still love him in Her. Not much conversation, he only know his fist. He doesn't plan the shooting or any kind of blue print that we see much in the mercenaries movies, he just roll and go with his hammer. Yes, he killed with his hammer.
Go watch the movie, and tell me how it affects you. For me this movie got 3,5/5 stars!

Movie Review - Tully
Tully is the new movie played by Charlize Theron. She's not only the main cast, but she's also the producer of Tully. This is a personal project for her I think, this is quite different from all the roles she had played.
Charlize Theron plays as Marlo, a mother of two, and one is coming on the way. The movie was opened with a scene where she drive their children to the school. Her son, Jonah is not a common kids. He kicks over and over the driver seats because her mom doesn't park in the usual place. So, Marlo, with that big tummy, tries to calm her son first, but it didn't work out. The shouts and screams in the car was intolerable. So, she come out the car and screams as much as she can.
The situation between a mother and their children doesn't get any better day by day. One night, Marlo's brother, Drew, ask them to have dinner together. Well, Marlo brother is more successful than her, He has a big house, kids with their nanny's and living quite large with their expensive new car. So, as a loving brother, he decided to offer her a help, it was a night nanny.
A night nanny was nanny who comes from 10 PM at night, and help the mom to give milk, watch the baby, so mom could have their sleep. Marlo refuse it at first. But after a sequence of events, she finally accept the gift. This is where Tully comes, played by Mackenzie Davis. There something about Mackenzie Davis that draws your attention. She is not the gorgeous type that made you feel inferior, but she's the kind of interesting thing that your eyes just keep seeing.
Tully, showed up with a cropped shirt and a tight pants in her first night. Marlo just can't stop staring, as most female do, we just can't stop comparing one another. Eventually, they bond and became best friends. Marlo becomes more and more sane, and Tully just become Tully.
This is a movie that I think suppose to be watched between married couple, or couples who thinks about getting married. Having a family is not just another step, it's a giant leap, it's an endless hardwork between couples. If you forget to nurture it,you're going to lose it in time. Not to mention the sanity that you put on the line.
The movie builts in details, you will feel Marlo's problem. You will feel that kick in your heart and in your stomach. You will have questions about life, questions about roles, questions about "could you do it if you were her?".
This is an interesting movie, especially because I'm a mother of two. I feel her much to my bone. So, I give it 4/5 stars!

Review - 13 Reasons Why
I know it's kinda late giving this series a review, since the new upcoming one is coming. But, its better late than never they say. Now, that I'm jobless, I just made time to finish the Series last week. So here we go...
13 reasons why is a story about a girl who commit suicide, she slit her wrist in the bath tub. Why? because she was raped, bullied, and couldn't fit in society. We all know that this world is a cruel world, everyone is acting cautious against anybody.
The girl who killed herself, named Hannah Baker, played by Katherine Langford. Before she decided to kill herself, she managed to taped her reasons, 13 tapes of them, and send it to her friend Tony, and ask him to distribute all of the tapes to all the persons she mentioned in the tapes.
By watching this, hopefully some people realized, cruel words, rude actions, bullying could really killed someone. Not everyone is strong enough to live with feeling of rejected by the society, it could lead to self destruction, and end up deleting he/she when they felt they're not enough.
Back to the series, during her high school, Hannah tries to made friends with everybody, and get close to a boy named Clay Jensen. Like any teenagers, Hannah and Clay were to shy to show their affection and attentions since they don't have the experiences with opposite sex. Besides Clay, like in any other schools, there are always these group of famous and rich people who likes to manipulate and bullying other kids. Most of these famous and rich kids were on Hannah's tapes. Some has wronged her, some created rumors about her and some just doesn't care.
Stuck in school, with no one to lean on or becoming friends too, made her life miserable. Not only that, her parents were also had financial issues, that led her feel that she has led her parents down. She felt like the world against her, and she has to carry the weight in her shoulder.
After Hannah's suicide, Clay receives the tapes and start listening to all of them. The only person that respond to Hannah's tapes are only Clay, by responding I mean, he literally check the truth and eventually get angry with it. He started takes revenges for Hannah, and tries to humiliates or hurt people that have wronged Hannah. Clay loves Hannah, but too shy to take it to the next level, and this is becoming his big regret.
The stories are quite original I think, the narration told well in every episode. You could feel how Hannah struggle in her daily lives. One of the best things that need to be said in this review is, all of the soundtracks is worth listening. I almost love all of them. One of my favorite is a song by Codeine with the titled Atmosphere, which is a cover from Joy Division. This song played when Clay talks heart to heart in a playground with Tony. Some of the lyrics goes like this :
Your illusion - my confusion
And in the mask of self-hate
Confronts itself and then dies
Don't walk away - in silence
People like you, have it easy
Face like the sun - walking on air
Haunted by your face, every street, every corner
Abandoned too soon
Don't walk away - in silence
I really recommend you to watch this, though its a teenagers movie kind of thingy, but it still relatable to all walks of life. We have dealt with these kinds of bullying in the old days, or we still being bullied until now, these will wake your sense of calls to how society does sucks. IMDB gave these series 8,3/10, I guess its a guarantee that you had to watch it.
Happy watching! You could watch it on netflix or on any other sources.
