Review - The Lone Ranger

This movie was released in the mid of 2013 if I'm not mistaken. I finally decided to watch it, since I can't stand to delete a Johnny Depp's movie, feels like I made a big sin if I did.
After getting home from the office, I decided to watch this movie with my kids, since this is a Disney production. Here goes the review :

Starred by Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer, this was a fun movie. Although the movie is a series in my childhood times, I can not reckon the movie so it was incomparable with the old movie version.
The movie told a story about Tonto played by Johny Depp, an Indian who lost his tribes and also John Reid a state district attorney played by Armie Hammer.
John Reid went to his hometown after finishing his studies in the big city, on his way home he met Tonto who get caught by the Texas Ranger and going to be punished with the most wanted outlaws named Butch.
Faith somehow made them become a companion in a journey to reveal whose their real enemies. Tonto wants to revenge his old enemy who killed all of his tribes and John want to reveange his brother killer. Although the journey is not as exciting I thought it would be, since an indian should be full with surprises of reading the nature, but the journey is quite fun.

Tonto was played with weird character, and as always Johnny Depp is like the expert of weirdness. The character itself is not a surprise for me, since I feel like watching pirates of carribean in a different suit. They put the character too weird, I wish for once Johnny Depp plays a natural character that might give this movie a whole lot more meaningful.
Actually this movie is less than I expected, I thought it will be more entertaining. Anyway it's an OK movie. So, I gave this movie 3/5 stars!
