Review - Kingsman The Secret Service

Well, thus I'm kind of late in watching this movie since it was released in February 2015, I must say that this movie is worth the wait. Starred by Colin Firth as Harry, Taron Egerton as Eggsy, and Samuel L. Jackson as Richmond Valentine.

It started with Eggsy who was a drop out students, a punk who lives with his mother and his crook boyfriend named Dean. Eggsy has a necklace that was belong to his father, with a number on the back and told to call the number everytime he has troubles. Off course as a punk, trouble is a just around the corner. He was sent to the police station, and finally sent out after his call. Confusing with the release, Harry came and explained a little bit about Kingsman and asked him to join in.

Let me explain about Kingsman, its a private services that's filled with spies and known for its lack of interferences from outside sectors like the government. I wont spill you all the details, since it will ruin the excitement. Anyway, there's a vacant position at Kingsman and all the kingsman is urge to submit their candidates. These candidates will be trained and tested, and only one who will be taken as a Kingsman.

With various kinds of test, Eggsy and Roxy was the last best two candidates. Which made them and Merlin, the trainer, have to save the world from Richmond Valentine. Who is Mr. Valentine? Well, he's a crazy rich man who believes that the world need to be cleaned out from human. So, he started doing it by creating a technology that made human become so aggressive and started killing each other. Helped by his killer assistant, made him a powerful monster.

The movie is full of twisted stories and full of surprises. It's so entertaining, full of creativity and excitement. This is one of the best movie in this opening year. A collaboration of British and American, and we can see why the British is so proud with their tradition, and American looks so lame with the trials of so-fun people. In this case, I prefer the British, love their complexity, thus it looks so old fashioned but the elegance and depth of the culture is quite intriguing for me.

For a great and fun entertainment, great and beautiful actors I gave this movie 4/5 stars!
